Although we do a reverse schedule I still find myself stuck in a rut sometimes. A reverse schedule is when you start off the day with a blank slate. Then when you get something done it goes on your schedule. Whether or not you planned to do the activity. This takes the guesswork out of what you’re going to do, and you don’t worry about what didn’t get done, instead, you are more focused on what did get done. Most recently I found myself needing something to spice up our homeschool day.

So how does Homeschool Schedule BINGO work? I have created a PDF printable that will take the guesswork out of your day. Simply print off the pages, and have your child choose which bingo sheet they want. Allow them to choose what they are going to learn that day. I have included blank bingo sheets for you to also create your own homeschool schedule bingo that suits your needs and your style.

This way of approaching your homeschool schedule will give control to your child but still allow you to decide what gets done. This has worked great for us and I hope that it can help you too! This can break up the monotony of curriculum if you are always doing the same thing every day, or feel like you need to spice things up by adding extra subjects occasionally. Of course, my son wanted an option that was a bit heavier on games and extras, so there is one of those.

Try laminating the pages to make them last longer. Perhaps we need to sweeten the deal? Use snacks or candy as the placeholder for your bingo card, and when you get a bingo you can eat your snack!
