What is Included in the AR Word Family Rhyming Worksheets?

• 5 worksheets are designed for your child to build rhyming words such as far, car, guitar, jar, star, etc.
• Decodable reader “The Car”

The rhyming worksheets are designed to go along with the story. Work through each worksheet, slowly building confidence in your child. At the end of the worksheets, your child should be able to read the CVC words in the story. If they are not able to, do not fret. I put more sight words and rhyming words that were not CVC words in these stories. For easier stories and CVC words see my other products.

Sight words are not a focus at the beginning of teaching your child to read. I have included some sight words, but these should not be the main focus.
